HOW IT WORKS
Five steps from brief to delivery.
01
Submit your brief
Fill in the project brief form and pay the GH¢ 500 non-refundable commitment fee via Paystack. This confirms your slot and covers instructor review time.
02
Brief review
A DSD instructor reviews your submission within 2 working days. We confirm scope, ask any clarifying questions, and match you to the right student team.
03
Design begins
A supervised student team takes on your project. Your instructor oversees every stage and reviews all work before it reaches you.
04
Review & revise
You receive your first draft and provide feedback. Two revision rounds are included in every service tier.
05
Final delivery
Your completed deliverables are sent as a professional PDF package. For large-scope projects, any quoted project fee is due before delivery.
SERVICES
Three service tiers.
All briefs start with a GH¢ 500 commitment fee. Moderate-scope projects are delivered at no additional charge. Large or complex projects are assessed after submission — DSD sets the terms.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Keeping it fair for everyone.
Full terms are agreed during the submission process. Key points are summarised here.
Submission fee
A non-refundable GH¢ 500 commitment fee is required to submit a brief. This confirms your seriousness, reserves your slot, and covers instructor review time. It is not negotiable and is not offset against any future balance.
Moderate-scope projects
For residential interiors, standard floor plans, and straightforward structural briefs, the GH¢ 500 commitment fee is the only fee due. DSD will deliver the agreed scope at no additional charge. What qualifies as moderate scope is determined solely by DSD.
Large or complex projects
Where DSD determines that a brief exceeds moderate scope — in size, complexity, or deliverable volume — a project fee will be quoted by DSD after brief review. This fee is fixed and non-negotiable.
Scope determination
DSD has sole discretion to classify any brief as moderate or large scope. This classification is communicated within 2 working days of submission. The client's assessment of their own project's complexity does not bind DSD.
Brief completeness
Clients must provide accurate site dimensions, reference images, and all relevant existing drawings before design work begins. Incomplete briefs may be deferred or declined. No refund is issued for incomplete submissions.
Right to decline
DSD reserves the right to decline any brief that is incomplete, commercially exploitative, ethically unsuitable, or beyond student-level capacity. The GH¢ 500 fee is forfeited in such cases.
Ownership of work
All completed work remains the property of DSD until any outstanding project fee is received in full. Upon full payment, the client receives a licence to use the deliverables for the stated purpose.
Portfolio rights
DSD retains the perpetual right to use all completed Studio Clinic projects in its portfolio, social media, marketing materials, and student showcases, without further consent or compensation.
Professional certification
Studio Clinic deliverables are supervised student work. They are not a licensed architect's or engineer's certification. For planning permission, building permits, or structural approval, clients must engage a licensed practitioner independently.
Revisions
Two (2) revision rounds are included in every project. Revisions must be submitted in a single consolidated list per round. Additional rounds, if offered, are at DSD's discretion and pricing.
Conduct
Abusive, disrespectful, or harassing behaviour toward students, instructors, or staff results in immediate cancellation without refund and permanent exclusion from DSD Studio Clinic.
Liability
DSD is not liable for construction defects, planning refusals, or any loss arising from the use of student drawings without licensed professional review and sign-off.
