Before anyone builds, they need to know what it will cost — accurately. That's the job of the quantity surveyor, and this course teaches you to do it straight from the drawings. Using PlanSwift, you'll import the architectural drawings, then click and trace to measure everything — areas, lengths, volumes and counts — while the software tallies the quantities automatically. Apply your rates and it builds the cost as you go, producing a professional, costed Bill of Quantities you can hand to a client or contractor. What used to take days of counting by hand off paper, you'll do in minutes, with far fewer errors. Estimating is a skill every construction project needs, so demand is steady — and it pairs powerfully with Architectural Design (the same person can draw the building and price it). No prior experience needed — it's the most accessible of our courses and a fast entry into construction. Taught at our Autodesk Authorized Training Center in North Legon, Accra.
